Design Thinking: the user at the heart of innovation
In the past, information was a rare resource, and the main challenge was making it available. Today, we are living in a context of the abundance of information. Consider “Big Data”: these data bring added value only if they are understandable or usable. For Librarians, this change entails new questions. For example, how can we improve the interaction between user and data? How can we transform a stock of information into services? “Design Thinking “is a method whose main objective is to conceive end-user services.
On Tuesday, we will spend our day exploring the ways Design Thinking can prove to be an innovative approach for improving our services.
